In this class students will learn to;

¨ prepare wood for finishing by stripping, sanding and repairing.

¨ Color wood using various stains, dyes, chemicals, and milk paints.

¨ Protect wood using various finishing products.

¨ Learn to select products that are appropriate for the requirements of your project.

· Students are required to purchase some tools and materials needed for this class.

· You will be required to bring a notebook, pen and pencil.

· Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting dusty or stained.

Finishing will not be offered in the Spring Session.
