Our new shop is located at 5104 N. Ravenswood |
|
We are out of our old location. It was a lot of work, and we would like to thank the following people for their help:
John Baumbach/forklift, Adam Kuhn/truck driver, Joe Dulay, Sean Abercrombie and Bill Jordan/loading and unloading, Mary Hamester/packing and donuts, Jan Doody/Boxes, and Leo Ford and John Baumbach for their “after the move” help.
We will spend the month of December setting everything up and start the Winter session the first week in January. The new shop is approximately 10,000sf and divides nicely into three main spaces. One will be the machine room, one will be a bench room/power- tools room and one will be for hand tools. Additionally we have a classroom/library and space to store projects.
With more space, we will be able offer additional class times for our existing core classes (101,102,103) and offer additional advanced classes for graduates. Our first new addition is a stereo speaker building class. Under consideration are a cabinet building class, a scroll saw class, and lathe (turning) classes. Shaun and Mark |
