In this seminar, students will learn the theory behind sharpening plane blades and chisels as well as the practical side of sharpening with a bench grinder, wet grinder, and various honing mediums. Though not mandatory, students are encouraged to bring in a chisel or plane blade (or two) to practice with. At the conclusion of the seminar, students will be able to sharpen a straight edged woodworking tool with confidence. |
